I love food, cooking and sharing with my family and friends.  Fresh, natural and tasty ingredients are the first things I reach for when playing with recipes.  After years of having friends and family beg me for my recipes, I figured a blog would be the perfect place to collect and share my favourite recipes, as well as my musings on staying active and enjoying life.

ABOUT ME


I’m 38 years old and live in Ontario, Canada, with my wonderful husband and three growing children.  I always have a lot on the go, and I am an artist, gardener, writer, runner, and volunteer.  I would love to hear feedback about my recipes and ideas. 

A note on ingredients:

I try to use food as close to their natural state as possible while getting the same results in recipes.  Butter, unbleached flour, raw cane sugar, sea salt, fresh fruits instead of canned... the idea is to minimize the amount of processed food my family eats.  As well, we cook on cast iron or stainless steel, and avoid nonstick cookware due to the chemicals released during cooking.
